This page explains what South Tyneside Plumbing & Heating collects when you contact us through this website, and how that information is used.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the service you have requested, and any message you enter.
How we use it
Your enquiry is sent directly to South Tyneside Plumbing & Heating so we can respond to your request. We do not sell, share, or use your details for marketing without your separate agreement. Your enquiry reaches us by email, delivered through Resend, an email delivery provider that processes it only to send it on to us. Your name, phone number, email address and message are never sent to Google or any advertising platform.
A protected copy, so an enquiry is not lost
When you send an enquiry, a protected copy of your name, email address, phone number and the service you chose is also stored, encrypted, in the enquiry system run by Silver Spider Media Ltd, the agency that built and looks after this website. It is there so that your enquiry can be recovered if the email to us does not arrive. The text of your message is not stored there. It is only in the email sent to us.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and longer only where the law requires it. The protected copy described above is kept until your enquiry has been confirmed as delivered to us, plus 30 days, and is then deleted. You can ask for it to be deleted sooner.
Keeping out spam
To stop automated spam, the form limits how often the same internet address can send an enquiry. This uses a counter that expires after about a minute and is not kept as a record. The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that runs while you fill in the form and tells people from automated programs. Cloudflare receives technical information from your browser for that check.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time, including the protected copy of your enquiry. Contact us directly using the phone number on this site to make a request.
